Pattycake family is artsy and friendly. Pattycake is a 3D sketched block letter font with lots of hand-drawn energy and bounce. Pattycake Solid is a smooth and cheerful stand alone font that complements Pattycake, and works nicely as a loose fill under Pattycake so you can easily have fun with color! Download Sweet Treats JNL Fonts Family From Jeff Levine Fonts

Download Sweet Treats JNL Fonts Family From Jeff Levine Fonts
Designed by Jeff Levine, Sweet Treats JNL is an art nouveau and kids font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Jeff Levine Fonts.

A piece of British sheet music for “You’re Sweeter than I Thought You Were” [from the 1935 film “Jack of All Trades” starring Jack Hulbert] provided inspiration for a digital typeface based on the credits for Hulbert and the film that rather than the song’s title.

What’s interesting is the lettering style was influenced by Art Nouveau at a time when Art Deco was gaining in popularity.

The result is Sweet Treats JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

(According to Wikipedia, John Norman ‘Jack’ Hulbert (April 24, 1892 – March 25, 1978) was a British actor, director, screenwriter and singer, specializing primarily in comedy productions, and often working alongside his wife Cicely Courtneidge.)

Download Lapopie Fonts Family From Hoopoe

Download Lapopie Fonts Family From Hoopoe
Designed by Sonia James, Lapopie is a hand drawn and kids font published by Hoopoe.

Lapopie is a free-spirited, playful font who likes to bend the rules and just go with the flow. Originally hand-drawn using wax aquarelle pencils, it has been digitised and cleaned up with ease of use in mind. It is an all-caps font that comes with alternative capitals to give that offbeat personality. Lapopie was inspired by children’s book illustrators and created for them in mind, but it could also be used on posters, packaging or advertising, it’s up to you in the end.

The glyphs cover most Latin languages.

Download Kabouter Fonts Family From Hanoded

Download Kabouter Fonts Family From Hanoded
Designed by David Kerkhoff, Kabouter is a hand display and kids font family. This typeface has four styles and was published by Hanoded.

Kabouter (kaːˈbɑu̯.tər) means ‘gnome’ in Dutch. I have no particular love for gnomes (even though I have a font called Garden Gnome…), but this font had a fairytale feeling to it and the name looked good.
Kabouter is a happy display font. It is fun, bouncy and quirky. Use it for your book covers, toy-packaging and home made apple sauce labels. Besides that, you now know how to say gnome in Dutch, which will leave your friends astounded! ;-)

Download Gumbo Fonts Family From Hanoded

Download Gumbo Fonts Family From Hanoded
Designed by David Kerkhoff, Gumbo is a hand display and kids font family. This typeface has four styles and was published by Hanoded.

Lately I have been experimenting with different foods. At home, we eat a lot of Asian food, but I thought it would be nice to broaden my culinary horizon a bit. So far I have (successfully) added Georgian beef and walnut soup, Tacos (after a suggestion by my friend Stuart), Surinam Roti and various vegetarian dishes to our menu.

When I created this font, I had to think of Gumbo - a dish I have never made.
Gumbo is a handmade display font that comes in a rotund regular and an obese bold (with Italics). Use it for your book covers, product packaging and sticky notes.
Gumbo comes with cute ‘end of word’ ligatures - just type the glyph + space and presto: you have a little swash.

As for the dish Gumbo, well, I will make that this weekend!

Download RF Marshall Fonts Family From Magpie Paper Works

Download RF Marshall Fonts Family From Magpie Paper Works
RF Marshall is a multiple classification font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Magpie Paper Works.

RF Marshall was inspired by an 1883 tombstone, tucked away in a pioneer cemetary. The 4-sided marker is sparsely adorned with homespun carvings of a handprint, two tulip poplar leaves, and these words: “RF Marshall died 1883 Aged 72 years.”

The font faithfully reproduces the stone’s hand-carved lettering and artwork, as well as artwork from other 18th and 19th century American headstones. It was drawn with calligraphy nibs dipped in walnut ink and delights in a range of end uses including period films, rustic decor, Halloween decorations, historical logos and branding, and on the pages of children’s books.

Download Pratfall JNL Font Family From Jeff Levine Fonts
Designed by Jeff Levine, Pratfall JNL is an art nouveau and kids font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Jeff Levine Fonts.

For 138 years, the Milton Bradley Company (of Springfield, Massachusetts) has been the leading producer of board games, toys and educational/instructional materials. The company was acquired by Hasbro in 1984.  It was merged with the also-acquired Parker Brothers in 1991 and became Hasbro Games until both brand ID’s were dropped in 2009.

“The Moving Picture Game” was a 1920s-era board game created by Howard R. Garis (credited as ‘the author of the Uncle Wiggily game’) and capitalized on the still-new motion picture industry.

On top of the storage box is the game’s name – hand lettered in a free-flowing Art Nouveau sans serif that more closely resembles the titles found within animated cartoons or in the ‘bubble letters’ a school child doodles on notebook paper.

Recreated as a digital typeface, Pratfall JNL (named after the slips, trips and falls taken by silent era film comedians) is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Download Genki Desu Font Family From Hanoded

Download Genki Desu Font Family From Hanoded
Designed by David Kerkhoff, Genki Desu is a hand display and kids font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Hanoded.

Genki Desu is one of those Japanese expressions that are used a lot and don’t really mean what you think they mean. You can use it as a greeting: O Genki Desu Ka? (お元気ですか - how are you), or to say you’re feeling fine (元気です - Genki Desu). The word Genki also means ‘energy’ or ‘vigor’. I am not an expert, in fact, there’s so much Japanese I can actually speak (shame on me), but Genki Desu is one of my favourites. Maybe just because it sounds so nice!

Genki Desu is a cartoon/kid’s font. It is happy, kawaii and full of Genki, so use it for any design that needs a bit of cute.

In the word of the great Yoda: ‘May the Genki be with you!’.

Download Silly Behavior JNL Font Family From Jeff Levine Fonts
Designed by Jeff Levine, Silly Behavior JNL is a kids font published by Jeff Levine Fonts.

Silly Behavior JNL is based on a hand lettered alphabet found within the pages of the vintage lettering book “100 Alphabets Publicitaires” (100 Advertising Alphabets).

The fun, haphazard arrangement of the letters and numbers convey a casual approach to titling.
